Colours
We have an extensive selection of “house colours” in our range. They consist of the most popular and sought-after colours, and feature a number of close matches to factory leather colours for numerous manufacturers. CDA can organise other colours outside of our house range, should you not be able to find one that you like.
Texture, Design and stitching
Grained Leather
The “OG” of leathers, this is the style synonymous with what people think of when they hear leather. Durable, natural looking and in a wide range of colours, this leather has a grain stamped into it during the tanning process to conceal scratches and imperfections. It is the most common for its wide application and price point.
suedes / synthetic
Most suede - Alcantara as most know it by - is a faux suede or synthetic product, meaning it is man made. Because of this, it has a more consistent finish, and is more durable than its organic cousin. Uv stabilised to prevent fade, this soft, furry feeling textile adds a more upper-class feel and a real textural contrast to a trim. It is a more costly material, but far more economical than its genuine counterpart.
Nappa leather
A higher grade leather, featuring minimal grain and is a more stretchy, plush feeling. Usually reserved for special editions or luxury vehicles, Nappa is prepped long before even becoming a hide. Better food and living conditions mean a cow's hide is in premium spec before processing. Easy to clean and far more sleek in finish, it is a stunning upgrade, albeit limited in colour options.
vegan series
Our vegan series is exactly that. Animal by-product free, this man made material is similar in texture and look to leather, but has more properties of a faux leather/ vinyl textile. It has a good range of colour and patterning, and whilst still boasting very good results, aesthetically it will never be as good as its organic counterpart.
Flat
Smooth leather car seats wipe clean easily and are less likely to retain stains from spills, compared to fabric seats. The smooth finish is simple, sleek and modern in finish, maintaining a less is more look.
perforated
Perforated leather car seats add a sense of luxury to a vehicle. It allows for airflow through the material, often used to cool down areas of the seat that come in contact with the body. Really good with our seat heater options!
ruching
(DELIBERATE wrinkling)
Gathered leather inserts are ideal for reinforcing the classic style of a vehicle. The main benefit of using a gathered leather finish is to remain period correct and add an aged, textured look.
Piping
Piping is a quality alternative to stitching. Piping outlines the edge of the car seat for added definition, classical style and can be used to bring additional contrast to a trim.
Stitching

Plain seam single stitching is understated and classic; complimenting the car seat leather to work cohesively with the seat and the definition to a seam.
