Audio Visual Upgrades

If you have ever been to our shop, you’ll always know where we are by the sound of music pumping out the doors! Since owning his first car, Cam always had two things on his immediate to-do list: Trim and Sound. With a passion for acoustic and visual aesthetics, it made sense for these to be a priority in all Cam’s personal vehicle builds.

Gone are the days of tape deck radios. Now even CDs have become a relic, in favour of newer large screen units boasting things like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. As technology and materials have drastically improved, as too have the required tools and software needed to install and operate them, especially when they're paired with other features like HVAC and vehicular controls. At CDA we have years of experience installing vehicle audiovisual equipment meaning the potentials are simply endless when it comes to achieving your auditory goals. Whether it’s replacing an old stock unit or building a show level sound system, CDA can help. We are a one-stop workshop, where we can not only build and trim a custom enclosure, but fit and wire up the speakers too!

CDA understands that sometimes to the best-of-the-best isn’t always needed or wanted. Budget may also play a factor, and unlike big name shops, CDA respects that everyone deserves various options regardless of what they wish to spend. Typically, we use Pioneer and Kicker for our budget builds. 

CDA is a Kayhan Audio Reseller, which is great for those who have vehicles without traditional aftermarket options or for those who prefer an Android style integration system. Running an Android Operating System makes these units far more comprehensive than many other vehicular head units. Kayhan offers a wide array of options similar to a standard desktop computer and usually boasts a large touchscreen interface to enhance the user experience.

Outside of audio, CDA offers a variety of other options in the way of visual features. With footwell and other atmosphere lighting, headlight and taillight globe LED upgrades, in-car entertainment systems, pod gauges, and, building custom enclosures for your newly installed sound system, the options are endless. 

For the elements unsuitable for trim or lighting/sound upgrades, we usually reach out to the local paint and panel networks. CDA has great relationships with a myriad of local painters, panel beaters, vinyl wrappers and artists, to offer an assortment of options to compliment your upgrades. One of our most popular products we outsource is custom hydrographics, done in partnership with the very talented Tigerz Hydrographics. Handled completely in house by us, simply choose a design and what pieces you would like “dipped”, and we handle the removal, liaison, and installation for you, making the process completely seamless.
